IMMERSE YOURSELF...Immersive Ambience is a term I've coined (with the help of a great friend, Sae Schatz) to describe music that uses advance surround-sound technology to immerse the listener in sound—from all directions and angles. Listeners feel wrapped in the music. My first Immersive Ambience CD recording, KARMA, uses virtual instruments and samples; the album was mixed and mastered in Dobly Digital 5.1. surround sound. This project convinced me that surround sound is the wave of the future in audio.
