Requirements for Entrance to the Flute Program

Audition Time: 15 minutes
Entering freshman should know major and minor scales; All State patterns

Choose Group A or B

Group A

1. One movement of a Concerto with a cadenza. Example: Mozart in D or G or other Concertos
2. One Etude could be fast or slow tempo.

Group B

1. Two contrasting movement from a Sonata or Telemann Fantasies.
2. One Etude could be fast or slow tempo.

Transfer students need to take entrance exam and level exam to meet requirements degree both will be in front of jury. Level will be at the discretion of the jury.
